Editing - Effects Letter-boxing

In lesson we learnt about how to use letter-boxing which is a way of creating more that one video to fit on a frame. We decided to use this within our music video as it would engage the audience into our music video. Also from the assessment criteria it said that we had to use a variety of shots and editing techniques this led us to use this method of editing. Me and Harrison decided to use this at the start of the music video and to synchronies it with the beat of the song. I believed that this would be a great way of keeping the audience entertained and unsure about what is going to happen next.
