When we began editing our footage we were confident that we had enough shots to use. We ended up having the perfect amount meaning that we had room for errors. We had many shots of the drumming as it took up about three quartes of the music video. We did have to loop some shots we used but it was unoticable as we used bridge editing and played two clips at the same time. The reason why i used this editing technique was because it made the audience feel that the band were palying togetehr and helping each other.
On the first day of editing we managed to get the clips we needed and delete all that we didn't need. This gave us a guideline of what shots we needed to use and what we thought were the best. We managed to sough a few clips so that they fited the tempo os the music video. We also lined up the clips with the instruments that were playing in the song so that we had a rough idea of how much footage we had to work.
On the second day of editing we managed to complete our music video as it just meant fitting the video in time with the song.
Overall i'm very pleased with the editing we did and how we managed to get it compelted so quickly. Also i feel that my editing kownledge has expanaded and i now know different editing techiniques that entice the audince into watcyhing the text.
